

At the final phase, Colonel Pluck uses an internal pod of the Stompybot 3000 as a flying machine, dropping enemies around the arena and trying to land over the heroes. The primates must avoid being stomped by its large legs, and in order to cause damage to it, they must pound multiple times on an open hatch below the cockpit of the machine after it executes a few jumps. The Kongs must avoid hazards created by mechanical devices, and also make use of them in order to progress. Donkey Kong Country Returns is a sidescrolling 2D platformer by Retro Studios for the Nintendo Wii, released in November 2010. Most of the levels are located inside the factory, featuring heavy machinery and robots. This world takes place on an industrialized area.
